
There are no two ways about it: Former astronaut Buzz Aldrin’s selfie game is strong. 38 years ago, he became the first person to take a selfie in space; now, he has an unambiguous message for NASA: “Get your ass to Mars.”

Aldrin’s shirt and twitter antics also have a less self-interested goal: The promotion of his ShareSpace Foundation, an organization geared toward encouraging children in science, technology, engineering, arts and math.
